DESCRIPTION

Plan of concrete actions of the 2037 Master Plan for the development of the Jardin botanique de Montréal over the next decade. The document brings together the results of the various projects under study in a unified, coherent synthesis. The assembly of the documents is the result of several participative, co-creative workshops and consultations with citizens, external stakeholders, as well as employees of Espace pour la Vie, the garden and the City of Montreal. This participatory process, called 'Dreaming the Garden 2031', probed the needs and issues of the botanical garden's various stakeholders, covering its multiple institutional dimensions. The co-design laboratories, focused on space and beauty, examined the sectors, providing a comprehensive picture of the site's current challenges, condition and needs, and identified the actions needed to propel the garden into a bright future.
